This book has been recommended to me for years, but honestly who goes out of their way to read about Nazi concentration camps? It's never easy to spend time pondering the horrors of humanity.
When this title was suggested in my book club, I knew it was time to give it a read and I'm so glad that I did. Corrie ten Boom was a fabulous woman who was courageous beyond her wildest dreams. She followed God's prompting and accomplished amazing things during a dark time in Europe's history. The story is told beautifully and she inspires hope rather than despair through all the horrible experiences. I never would have thought it possible. Read this book - you'll be surprised at how it affects you.
