Massive Update

It has been brought to my attention that I have neglected to update this blog in a long, long while.  Although it should surprise no one, it is true.  Now I will give a quick update on our activities over the last two or three months.  Pictures will come later.  Hopefully....

• In the second quarter, Jillian scored the highest points in the whole school for Reading Counts.  We are very proud of her passion for reading!
• We celebrated Marisa's 6th birthday with a unicorn theme.  We did a simple party in the basement of our building with traditional games and all the kids had a good time.
• We traveled to Stuttgart to see where Mike's relatives reportedly emigrated from.  It was a beautiful city.  We visited the zoo, the Ritter Sport Chocolate Museum and the Mercedes Museum while we were in town.
• I've been cropping a bit more frequently and finally finished my Georgia albums.  Woo-hoo!
• I had a yard sale and made over $200 (not exactly news, but exciting for me!)
• This month, I started a part-time job at the girls' school.  I'm a library assistant.  I love it.
• We are waiting for orders to our new assignment - Hawaii!
